How to learn more about coding

I am totally new to coding what should I learn first to learn to code and about the theories and practices?

You should start at the beginning of the freeCodeCamp curriculum.

fcc teaches web developement by building projects.
The way to understand the coding practices is through continual practice which what freeCodeCamp provides.

take a moment to figure out what sort of project you like to work on.
if you’re interested in web design - definitely start with web development (HTML,CSS and JS) . If you’re more interested in data science Python is a good starting point.

as @jwilkins.oboe mentioned try building projects as much as you can. It’s the best way to learn.
