How to use illustrations and vector in website

I’m new to web development . I want to add illustrations to my website. But I don’t know how to add them.

Depends on the format.

You can either add the SVG element inline if you have it as such. Or as an image, if you have the SVG as a file (someName.svg), which would be the same as if you had it as an image (someName.png or whatever).
