Up above, this is how the class “menu” was added to a div. You only need the period in the selector, in the CSS so it knows it is a class.

im not adding it to a div. it should be added to the class name flavor

I think you are misreading it:

Add the class name flavor to the French Vanilla p element.

You are supposed to add it to a p. I showed you an example of a different class added to a div. That is how you add classes to HTML elements.
