Friday next week I have an interview for a senior javascript position. I’ve been on the same job for the last 3 years and I entered to that company because a friend recommended me. So I’ve been a lot of years without being interviewed and I’m curious about knowing how is a current JS interview.
They’re asking for knowledge on React + Node.
I’m attempting to get some insights to know what I should study.
Should probably know all the ES6 stuff, maybe also learn about upcoming updates/features and try incorporate that into some answers.
I failed a JS/React interview because I was not able to answer their questions on Redux, and React-Router so you should know popular design patterns and libraries for React.
A senior role may also be expected to know how testing React applications works. I am just getting into Jest and Enzyme myself.
Good luck!
