Tell us what’s happening:
any one would help me very much appreciated.

it says set the value of the placeholder to “cat photo URL” but when I did it says You should set the value of your placeholder attribute to “cat photo URL”.
then I tried the real URL for the cat which “https://s3.amazonaws.com/freecodecamp/relaxing-cat.jpg” but got the same result

Your code so far

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
<p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

<a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

<p>Things cats love:</p>
<ul>
  <li>cat nip</li>
  <li>laser pointers</li>
  <li>lasagna</li>
</ul>
<p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
<ol>
  <li>flea treatment</li>
  <li>thunder</li>
  <li>other cats</li>
</ol>
<input type="text">
<input type="text" placeholder="https://s3.amazonaws.com/freecodecamp/relaxing-cat.jpg">

Challenge: Add Placeholder Text to a Text Field

Link to the challenge:

<input type="text">
<input type="text" placeholder="https://s3.amazonaws.com/freecodecamp/relaxing-cat.jpg">

As you can see there is one extra input element which is causing the problem.

Also you have to put the string “cat photo URL” as placeholder instead of the actuall URL.
