Challenge: Create a Media Query

Link to the challenge:

Hi
I remenber being caught out with this issue. Had me puzzled for a bit. For some reason adding a semi colon after your chosen height or width breaks it. Even though it’s normally good to end declarations with semi colon. One of those silly CSS things i guess.

Hi,
Thanks for pointing it out. However, when I deleted the semicolon, the code still didn’t run. Could it be a glitch?

The semicolon inside the condition part () is not valid syntax for media queries.

  1. Make sure you remove the correct semicolon (the one inside the parentheses).

  2. Copy the code and reset the challenge, paste in the code and try to submit.

Please ensure that you have disabled any extensions that interface with the freeCodeCamp website (such as Dark Mode and Ad Blocker), and set your browser zoom level to 100%. Both of these factors can cause tests to fail erroneously.
