I am not able to pass the test

Tell us what’s happening:

I’ve been trying to solve this problem from over 20 minutes. I watched video & looked upon internet to understand more about it. But I can’t figure out what’s wrong. I also tried opening free Code Camp in another browser & extensions are disabled.

Your code so far

.container {
  font-size: 40px;
  min-height: 300px;
  width: 100%;
  background: LightGray;
  display: grid;
  /* Only change code below this line */

  grid-template-columns: repeat(3, minmax(50px, 2fr));;

  /* Only change code above this line */
  grid-template-rows: 1fr 1fr 1fr;
  grid-gap: 10px;

<div class="container">
<div class="item1">1</div>
<div class="item2">2</div>
<div class="item3">3</div>
<div class="item4">4</div>
<div class="item5">5</div>

Challenge: Limit Item Size Using the minmax Function

Link to the challenge:

Hey @jatinrao,

The challenge asks you to use the minmax function on the grid-template-column. Looking back at this image:

Try to see what the challenge is asking you to do, set the minimum of 90px and maximum of 1fr.

Thanks a lot!

It worked as I was using the wrong values!

grid-template-columns: grid-template-columns: repeat(3, minmax(90px, 1fr));
