I am stuck and cannot figure out what is wrong.
.thumbnail { box-shadow: 0 10px 20px rgba(0,0,0,0.19), 0 6px 6px rgba(0,0,0,0.23); }
I have placed this in the style area and have even tried to place it directly around the id=“thumbnail”.

Change it to be a class:

And it will work.

If you need the id for something in particular, you can keep both.

Remember to refer to id’s with #randomtext and to classes with .randomtext, for example take this html code:

<h1 class="headline" id="linehead">Some kind of title </h1>

In CSS you refer to it like this:

/*This is a class */
.headline {
color: blue;
/* This is an Id */
#linehead {

This will result in the h1 text turning green since id are prioritized over classes

Thank you so much. I forgot about the # for id’s.
