Alright but first of all try resetting your code if I were you
Your opening anchor tag needs the second leg e g a not just <

Then you need to also open the img tag

e.g

<a href""><img src="" alt=""></a>

You should leave the image element you wrote alone. I would reset the code. To turn anything into a link, you need to put an opening <a...> tag before the thing that will become a link and a closing </a> after.
