I am unable to get Passed Step 12, I have tried everything but it keeps asking me to only have 1 (a) element

So that is because you have two <a> elements :slight_smile: Do you see that you have two <a> tags in your code? Neither of them have the required ending </a> tag, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still there.

I would restart this step. When you are done you should only have one beginning <a> tag and one ending </a> tag and they should wrap around the words “cat photos” in the <p> element.
