Hello, I’m 100% new to coding and have started with the HTML and CSS lessons. I started on a whim and I enjoy it a lot. But I have this problem, I can’t delete certain characters in the code, such as hashtags, colons, semicolons, and blank spaces. I’ve managed to work around this for many of the exercises, but now I’ve gotten to one where I have to change hex values to rgb values, and I can’t progress because I can’t delete the #.
I am using a Fire 7 with the Silk browser, and I don’t have any other computer or device I can use.
Edit: I did find a workaround to just hold down and use Cut, but this is still an inconvenience.
If you are using a mobile device, the default keyboard does not always play well with the freeCodeCamp editor. I recommend you read the article on using a mobile device to view some tips - most importantly, check out the coding keyboards listed as they interface with the editor well.
I did try to install a coding keyboard, but for some reason, it doesn’t show up in my keyboard settings. I’ve found workarounds for the problems I was having though, so it’s not a big issue. Thank you for your reply!
