Challenge: Step 13

Link to the challenge:

I would restart the step to get the default code back. You only want to do one thing, add a target attribute to the existing link. Do not change anything else, just add to what is already there.

you dont need to make another anchor tag instead you need to at the target attribute after your link

say if i wanted to add an image

<img src="photo.jpg" />

and i wanted to add an “alt” attribute to it.
i would write it like

<img src="photo.jpg" alt="a photo" />

HI @nabievhasanjon95 !

It looks like you were trying to post the answer.
But the forum has a policy about providing answers instead of hints.
Since we are a learning platform, it is best for learners to be guided to the correct answer using hints.
That way they can arrive at the correct answer on their own and understand the content better.

Also, this is how to post code to the forum

When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

Dear Wannabedev:
Thanks for your hint I had solved my problem. Many thanks!

Hi Miss J.:
1.Do you wanted to give me answer ?why do you say"Hi @nabievhasanjon95 your meaning forum more likes to indirectly support hint not directly give an answer.It is a good policy.
2.Another question about if post a entering block code need to a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a seperate line of three backticks I will obey the rule.
3.The end question is" You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor ( </> ) to add backticks around text." that I can’t understand its meaning ,could you please for me to give me answer .many thanks!

No, we have a policy about giving direct answers.
We encourage users to provide hints instead of giving direct answers.

If you want to post code to the forum and have it show up you will need to seperate it it by backticks.

That tool in the editor will add the backticks automatically for you instead of having to write it out yourself.

Hope that helps!

Dear Miss J.O.:

Hi, if after searching you can’t find pointers to the solution in another forum post about this lesson, please make a new forum post.

It’s easier to help if issues with another lesson are put in a new post.

Dear E.G.:
O.K. I will be according to your suggestion to make a new solution of another forum post.
Now, I have a lesson can’t pass it is web design curriculum on the step 14 ,could you please to help me to solve this problem? Many thanks!

I mean make a new post by clicking the ‘new topic’ button on the main page or by clicking ‘ask for help’ in the lesson.

I should have been more clear there on what I meant. And said ‘make a new topic’ rather than make a new post. Sorry for any confusion.
