Describe your issue in detail here.

In this challenge it says „ Your anchor ( a ) element should have an opening tag. Opening tags have this syntax: <elementName> .“

I don’t know what to do next, for me it seems ok with the code. Can anyone help me please :frowning: ?

  **Your code so far**

<html>
<body>
  <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
  <main>
    <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
    <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
    <p>Click here to view more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a>.</p>
    <img <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com" src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

  </main>
</body>
</html>

Hey there and welcome to the forums! :wave: :slightly_smiling_face:

This is… wrong… I’m not sure what to call it exactally.

<img <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com" src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

You have an anchor tag “merged” so to speak with an image tag, as opposed to the image being nested in it. I’d probably reset the lesson at this point.

Remember to nest an element you wrap it in another elements tags. So for example:

<a href="some url">
  <img src="some image's url">
</a>
