I can't understand what I did wrong while stating the degrading font-family!

I am pretty sure I wrote the code correctly the 1st time. But it was showing I didn’t. So, I used the ‘get a hint’ & ‘watch video’ options to find the solution but it seems like what I did was the as them. Plz point out what I did wrong as I am at a lost here as a total noob.

here is the full code

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
  .red-text {
    color: red;

  h2 {
   font-family: Lobster, monospace ;
    <!-- <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> -->
  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: monospace;

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
  <p class="red-text">Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

  <a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

    <p>Things cats love:</p>
      <li>cat nip</li>
      <li>laser pointers</li>
    <p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
      <li>flea treatment</li>
      <li>other cats</li>

  <form action="https://freecatphotoapp.com/submit-cat-photo">
    <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" checked> Indoor</label>
    <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Outdoor</label><br>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality" checked> Loving</label>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality"> Lazy</label>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality"> Energetic</label><br>
    <input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" required>
    <button type="submit">Submit</button>

Please post your actual code instead of a screenshot. Thanks.

are we supposed to add space then put semicolon

Am I suppose to copy-paste the code on the post :sweat:? I am completely new here so don’t know what am I suppose to do :cold_sweat:.

Yes, it would be helpful if you copy-paste your code into a post. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

Thanks for letting me know. But I found the mistake I made.
I added the comment before closing the curly brackets :confounded:

I made a mistake and added the comment tag before closing the curly bracket. I thought the comment was supposed to be in the curly brackets. :sweat:
