The instruction is:

Add a target attribute with the value _blank to the anchor (a ) element’s opening tag, so that the link opens in a new tab.

Which part of that is confusing you. I don’t mean that as a jab - I’m asking so we know which part to explain.

En… To be honest, my English is not good. I don’t know what is “a target”, and what I can do to add this. To understand the instruction is a challenge for me, so I wish someone can explain this with a simpler expression.

Anchor is an element, < a></ a>. You can add Atributes to elements. Target is one of these possible attributes for the Anchor element.

Now, use an Anchor element with the Attribute of Target, set to _blank;

<element attribute="value of attribute"></element>

Oh, thanks！So I should put "target"after “a”, right? And “_blank”, surround it in quotes?

Right, “target” is the attribute and “_blank” is the value. Just like this:

has two attributes of “src” and “alt” which have values of “https://cdn…” and “A cute orange…”
