This challenge has nothing to do with alt text. It does however require you to add a specific id to the footer element. The final instruction states:

Then add an id attribute with a value of “footer” to the <footer> element at the bottom of the page.

Why did you add an h2 element inside the footer element with anid attribute with the value \kitty pics-footer? The instructions do not say anything about adding an h2 element.
