That exact code passes for me. I’d double check that you are not using any browser extensions that change your CSS, such as a dark mode extension.

it was the dark mode extension. Wow I would’ve never thought of that one lol

You can turn on freeCodeCamp’s native dark mode in your account settings so that your extension doesn’t disrupt your CSS during these challenges.
