when I take the test it tells me im wrong it says

" Your form element should have well-formed open and close tags."

Hi there. Its hard to read your code as it is improperly formatted. When you ask for help its better to use the “Ask fro Help” button as this generates a post with all the correct information that we need to help you.

As to your question you don’t seem to have an opening form tag before your form or after. This should take the following form:

<form>

// My form contents

</form>

thankyou for your help sir

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).
