Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

Link to the challenge:

Hi @rhea.mendonca.77,

The issue is related to how you use your simple quotes. If you want to use them, put only one each time:

<p class='my_class'>My text</p>

The second possibility is to use the double quotes:

<p class="my_class">My text</p>

My issue is I have attached the picture.

Yes, and I explained you why it doesn’t pass. I used examples with p tags and class attributes to show you the good way to use the simple quotes or the double quotes. It is the same with img tags:

<!-- Good quote syntaxes -->

<img src="my_source" alt="my_text">
<!-- OR -->
<img src='my_source' alt='my_text'>

<!-- In your code, you use each time two simple quotes together, which is not a good syntax -->
<img src=''my_image'' alt=''my_text''>

Do you understand your issue now? Tell me if it is still not clear :slight_smile:

<img src=’‘https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg’’ alt=’‘a relaxing cat’’>

Its still gives me an error. how do you use alt

When I used your updated code, you are still using a type of single quotes, togther:

<!-- They are still simple quotes -->
<img src=’‘https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg’’ alt=’‘a relaxing cat’’>

On QWERTY keyboard, the key for quotes is:

Thank you so much. I got it.

God Bless :grinning:

Glad that you figured it out @rhea.mendonca.77, have a nice day :slight_smile:
