i need to re-formate a calendar in a calc-sheet
i need to make sure that the date column is formatted MM/dd/yyyy.

but i have this

01.01.2019
02.01.2019
03.01.2019
04.01.2019
05.01.2019
06.01.2019
07.01.2019
08.01.2019
09.01.2019
10.01.2019

So is that the first ten days of January in 2019, or the first of the month from January to October in 2019?

Also, I’m not entirely sure what your question is?

You haven’t given us enough information.

  • Is your question how to change the periods (.) to slashes (/) ?
  • Are you asking if what you’ve given us is the correct format? There’s no way of knowing with the info provided. The only way to determine if it’s already mm/dd/yyyy is if the first number is > 12 then you know at least that date is a dd/mm/yyyy format. Anything else would be indeterminate.
