I try this but stiil dont work. it says: You should make sure the checkbox is still present

it gives me this message. The text Loving should no longer be located directly to the right of your checkbox. It should be wrapped in a label element. Make sure there is a space between the two elements.
but when I fix it it says You should make sure the checkbox is still present.

Challenge: Step 55

Link to the challenge:

Note that the text should be nested in the <label>
It doesn’t mention the <input> element.

but if i remove input it says: You should make sure the checkbox is still present.

When you say “remove it” what do you mean? From the <label> or from the code?
I wouldn’t remove it from the code, but perhaps move it outside the <label> element.

yeah, I put the checkbox inside the label. but it says: The text Loving should no longer be located directly to the right of your checkbox. It should be wrapped in a label element. Make sure there is a space between the two elements.

The <label> tag and the <input> tag should be two separate items. Seems in your code they are… intermingling.

yeah I understand this, but I dont know how to separate them.
The new label element should have a for attribute with the value loving . You have either omitted the value or have a typo. Remember that attribute values should be surrounded with quotation marks.

So you start out with:

<input id="loving" type="checkbox"> Loving

Well, its saying you can take the text “Loving” on the right, and make that an associated label by enclosing it inside a <lable> tag… the label tag you create should have a for attribude , which would have a value that matches the id attribute of your input tag (which is ‘loving’)… does that help it make sense?

yeah a little. thanks
