im copying the code exactly from the video and still not advancing me?
Your code so far

Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

Link to the challenge:

The videos are not always perfectly in sync with the challenges. Often small changes will be made to the challenge to improve it and people aren’t creating new videos for every small change.

You should never copy the code from the video exactly. If you want to watch the video you should pay attention to how the presenter is solving the problem and understand their approach. If you pay attention to their description instead of their code you will be able to solve the problem yourself, even if there are slight differences.

Even if the video code does perfectly match the challenge, just copying it is a completely worthless waste of your time. You will not learn anything by just typing what you see on the screen.

Now set the src attribute so that it points to this url
what does this mean

Your src attribute is currently set to an empty string (''). So is your alt attribute. You have extra quotes around both values, creating empty strings.

I haven’t done HTML in a while, so please forgive me if I’m wrong. However, you wrote two apostrophes (’’) instead of one quotation mark (") on the link and the alt. Try this:

<img src = "https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="relaxing cat"/>
