I’m having a bit of a meltdown. I was almost finished with the HTML unit in the Responsive Web Design module. I planned to finish it today, but Chrome had been freezing intermittently on any websites I was on. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, hoping that would fix the problem, and it did. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get back on FCC since.
Due to various health issues, I struggle to remember details. I cannot remember which email I set up the account on. I’ve tried them all, tried to get password resets or to just log in with a code. None of them worked. Those that did send a code logged in to an account with zero progress and no profile set up.
There isn’t any more information that I can think to give you. But I do want to share with you why this is so important to me.
I began teaching algebra in 1997. I loved teaching and I love algebra. I have a gift for making abstract concepts more concrete by bringing in not just real world examples, but examples that students will actually use in their lives.
Around 2010, my health began to crumble. I was eventually diagnosed with an immune deficiency disorder, and it became unrealistic to be in the classroom anymore.
A few years ago, I began working with a bright young man who was being homeschooled. It lit my fire again. I have since come up with a curriculum that I think could be truly groundbreaking for students who struggle with math. I began teaching myself HTML back in the late 90s. I’ve learned enough over the years to believe that with some training, I could make this curriculum a self-contained reality.
I had begun using FCC before you changed up the way you are doing your curriculum. So though I’m just wrapping up HTML, I’m already about half way through the CSS stuff.
I’m just so excited to have the tools to make my dream a reality.
So please please please help me get it back.
