Import a Google font fails "Use an h2 CSS selector to change the font."

Tell us what’s happening:
Passes everything but " Use an h2 CSS selector to change the font." I have read many other posts about this and have tried applying the advice. I believe I have done the code correct according to the given solution, am i missing something obvious? I have tried multiple variations of “font-family:” such as using nothing in place of “GENERIC_NAME” as well as other font styles. Hello and thank you :slight_smile:

Your code so far

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;

  }
  h2 {
    font-family: Lobster, "Open Sans" ;}
  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: monospace;
  }
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
  <p class="red-text">Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

  <a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

  <div>
    <p>Things cats love:</p>
    <ul>
      <li>cat nip</li>
      <li>laser pointers</li>
      <li>lasagna</li>
    </ul>
    <p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
    <ol>
      <li>flea treatment</li>
      <li>thunder</li>
      <li>other cats</li>
    </ol>
  </div>

  <form action="/submit-cat-photo">
    <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" checked> Indoor</label>
    <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Outdoor</label><br>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality" checked> Loving</label>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality"> Lazy</label>
    <label><input type="checkbox" name="personality"> Energetic</label><br>
    <input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" required>
    <button type="submit">Submit</button>
  </form>
</main>

Seems the validator has some problem with that Open Sans-part . I think this is only an example, NOT part of the challenge.

I have tried it without “Open Sans”. I have tried only using Lobster as the given solution has, also other font styles such as “monospace” etc.

I just run the test with your new code and it passed:

  h2 {
font-family: Lobster;
  }

I figured it out, I was placing a comma after Lobster when I was not using a “GENERIC_NAME” !! lol thank you for help! :slight_smile:
