Import a Google Font QOL Issue

Tell us what’s happening:
This code will not work unless i remove the backup font.

It guides you to use the fallback font feature but doesn’t want it seemingly. Took me a bit to figure out the issue as the error reported was that i wasn’t using the h2 element which i clearly was.

Your code so far

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
.red-text {
 color: red;
}

p {
 font-size: 16px;
 font-family: monospace;
}
h2 {
 font-family: Lobster, monospace
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p class="red-text">Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

Challenge: Import a Google Font

Link to the challenge:

That is correct. The instructions say

Then, use an element selector to set Lobster as the font-family for your h2 element.

The next lesson is about specifying how fonts degrade. In this lesson you are only supposed to use one font in the h2 style element.

I added spoiler tags to your solution. We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum.

If you post a full passing solution to a challenge and have questions about it, please surround it with
and
tags on the line above and below your solution code.

Yes the instructions did not ask for a font degrade. Guess I got confused thinking it was best practice to use it and that it would expect it as a response.

I’ll use the spoiler tags in the future. If anyone reads it there is missing punctuation so it would not work anyway…as well as not working with a degrade.

*thank you

Woops, my mistake - I thought you posted the solution code without the degrade font
