Improve Compatibility with Browser Fallbacks 1

Tell us what’s happening:

how does ti work?

Your code so far

  :root {
    --red-color: red;
  .red-box { background-color: "red" }
  .red-box {

    background: var(--red-color, red);
    height: 200px;
<div class="red-box"></div>

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/74.0.3729.169 Safari/537.36.

Link to the challenge:

  1. It is red without the quotes.

  2. You should only have one .red-box selector with all the styles in it.

  3. You should use the background shorthand property, not background-color.

you also shouldn’t edit the original code, so not add the fallback to the variable value, that will also stop you from passing
