I have been offered a role as an independent contractor (in Australia). But I have never worked as an independent contractor before and I’m not sure if this is the right type of contract.
Is it very common to work as an independent contractor (where you are more like a business rather than employee)? Is there any other type of contract with a daily rate that I can suggest my employer to change it to?
(fyi, its a 6 month contract and I’ll paid a daily rate)
