There should not be anything in front of app.use()

helmet.hidePoweredBy() should not take app as the argument. In this step, you do not need to pass any argument. Passing it an argument is only for setting it to something else, here we are just removing it.

app.use(middleware.method())


The code you have to use is in the third example in the old docs (the API has changed in the newer versions).
