Challenge: Check Radio Buttons and Checkboxes by Default

Link to the challenge:

Hi, You have shared a lot of information but not what your actual question is!

I assume you are struggling with the challenge, after copy pasting your code, I’ve found a couple of small errors.
The first is this line where you have accidentally included a > after checked

<label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" checked> value="indoor"> Indoor</label>
// should be:
<label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" checked value="indoor"> Indoor</label>

Also this line also has an extra > after checked

<label for="lazy"><input id="lazy" type="checkbox" name="personality" value="lazy" checked>> Lazy</label>
// As opposed to:
<label for="lazy"><input id="lazy" type="checkbox" name="personality" value="lazy" checked> Lazy</label>

This is also the wrong box to check, you should instead check the checkbox with the id of loving.

I’m gonna hijack this, I hope that’s okay.

So, I’ve edited the code to say:
<label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="indoor" checked> Indoor</label>

It works and the thing is checked, however, after submitting the test I get the answer “You should not change the inner text of the Indoor label.”

I have no idea why and I cant seem to get it working.
I have the exact same issue with the checkbox too"

In fact, I get that message even before I start typing anything on the challenge, if I try to submit the test.

I think your overthinking the challenge.

All you have to do is write the word checked twice in the correct place with no typos and without editing any other text.
If you are worried about having already edited the code you can always press the ```reset all code```` button
