What’s the future of a full-stack developer in India?
I can’t speak to India, but in the US, from here:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects 8% job growth for web developers and designers from 2019-2029, double the national average for all occupations.
Being a front-end/back-end/(front-end + back-end)= full-stack developer will help you to get (developer)job opportunities from all around the world, you will have the liberty to work for companies located in different countries around the world(remote jobs) or for companies in your own country(in-person or remote). Learning programming and getting a job as a developer will not only help you to earn well, as it is one of the highest paying jobs but will improve your cognitive abilities(which everyone wants to) and as a person.
So, you got nothing to lose!!
The only catch is that the journey ahead is not gonna be an easy one but worth it and you’ll thank your future self for that.
Wish you the best for it.
I think they have a future. A narrow specialist may wake up and find that he’s not needed because his niche is outdated and it’s time to retrain for something else that’s not a threat to the fullstack developer.
