Challenge: Testing Objects for Properties

this is a function call which fcc makes to check your code to pass it, you can see the obj is already there when the function is called, in fact fcc makes multiple calls with different properties for the obj and checkProp, I hope you understand my point

This overwrites the first parameter of the function, which is also named obj.
You should use that parameter instead.
