Issue with Progress Not Saving in Full Stack Developer Course

Hi there,
I’ve noticed that in the Full Stack Developer course, my progress often doesn’t get saved, especially in labs and workshops. As a result, I find myself redoing the work multiple times.

Could you please look into fixing this issue as soon as possible? It’s making it difficult to proceed efficiently.
Thanks!

what do you mean that it doesn’t get saved? do you mean that completed projects do not stay completed?

I complete a lab or workshop, then close the freeCodeCamp website. When I return the next day, sometimes my progress is saved, but other times it’s not. For example, after fully completing the HTML section, it sometimes still shows as incomplete. Now, I’m working on the JavaScript section, and I’m experiencing the same issue.

so you mean that you complete something, and later on it doesn’t show as completed?
was it appearning as completed before leaving the session?

Yes, it does that sometimes.

does hard reloading Ctrl + F5 do something?

Some issues get fixed, while others don’t. For those that don’t, I simply resolve them again.

Do you press Ctrl + Enter 2 times after doing your task for that project ?

1st time- for checking if all tests passed, project completed.

If you see a modal box that says project completed 100% do you press ctrl + Enter again ?

2nd time- It will save your progress and land you directly to next project.

I know that, and I always make sure to press Enter + Ctrl after completing each step or the final step.

after final step you need to do it 2 times. You sure you do that ?

Because I also faced same issue initially with lab projects but I figured it out.

I do complete the steps, and when the lesson takes me to the home screen, it shows as solved. However, it might be another issue or just a browser-related problem.

Yes maybe. I hope its gets resolved soon.
Good luck :+1:, Happy coding
