Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

<img src= "https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="relaxing cat">

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/85.0.4183.121 Safari/537.36.

Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

Link to the challenge:

Hi and welcome to the forum!

What is your full code? That code works fine for me.

You can’t see the image because you’re using a bit.ly url, you need the use the direct url of the image : https://s3.amazonaws.com/freecodecamp/relaxing-cat.jpg (you can see this url going to the bit.ly site and doing right click on image > copy image url

with you need to use ever the direct url ( that end in img format, like : .png .jpg or .gif)

This is not correct. You can see the image just fine when using the bit.ly link and the bit.ly link is required for this challenge.

Yeah, me neither. I am a bit confused myself.

Ah, ok . You need to put the src before the p and after the , thats all.

Thank you guys for the help! I still don’t know what I did or how I did it but I fixed it.

next time you need help, please post the whole code in the editor, not just a line - it’s much easier to help you like that
