Hi
I copy past the

    <button type="submit">Submit</button>

into the lesson and it works for me.
so there seems nothing wrong with that part of the code
try reset your code and a difffrend browser it might do the trick

your FORM should have BUTTON inside it

I have tried with your code and its working.
Reset your code and paste

<button type="submit">Submit</button>

Everything is correct

It is a subtle error. You are missing the closing string on the alt attribute value on the image

You have:

alt="A cute orange cat lying

Should be:

alt="A cute orange cat lying"
