Java to Pseudocode?

Hi, I’m working on a school project and I’m confused on how to convert a snippet of my code to pseudocode.

I’ve remade the game of “Flappybird”.

If anyone knows how to convert either:

{
int speed = 5;

	ticks++;

	if (started)
	{

	// move columns backwards
	for (int i = 0; i < columns.size(); i++)
	{
		if(gameOver) return;
		Rectangle column= columns.get(i);

		column.x -= speed;
	}

OR:

// check if bird collides with columns
for (Rectangle column : columns)
{

		if (column.y == 0 && bird.x +bird.width / 2 > column.x + column.width / 2 - 5 && bird.x +bird.width / 2 < column.x + column.width / 2 + 5)
		{
			score++;
			if(score > highScore) highScore = score;
		}

		if (column.intersects(bird))
		{
			gameOver = true;

		}

		if (bird.y +yMotion > HEIGHT - 120)

			bird.x = column.x - bird.width;
		}
	}

Thanks.

Why do you need to convert your actual code to pseudo-code? It should be the other way around.

It’s for a school major assignment. I thought the same question, but those are in the guidelines.

Then just convert it to to sentence like structure. If they gave you guidelines, then follow them.

Yes, I know I need to do that. That’s what I’m asking for help with. Sorry If I was unclear.

So you were given an assignment where you are supposed to take written code and change it to pseudo-code, but they never showed you what pseudo-code looks like?

Just google pseudo-code and give it your best shot. We are not here to do your homework for you. If you want to take a shot at converting the code to pseudo-code, I will tell you if it looks like pseudo-code.
