Javascript opaque transition?

Javascript opaque transition?

I sped up the clock just to test, but is there a way after the “break time” is over, that the quote transitions from opaque to visible without popping up immediately? I tried the “transition” property in CSS, but that doesn’t seem to work in this instance.

Jquery has effects function. You can use it for transition effects.

In your case you can replace

$("#quote, #reset").show();

with

 $("#reset").fadeIn(2000);
 $("#quote").fadeIn(2000); // the number corresponds to the transition time in ms.

Thanks a lot!! Had no clue!

Actually, it flashes and then transitions in. Is it because I have it going too fast currently?

Does it flash first and den goes off den fades in??

When i try it works fine.
