Also, when you declare a function, the things in parentheses should be variable names inside the function, where you will store the passed to the function.

function sayHi(name) {
  console.log('Hi, ', name)
}

sayHi('Bob')

That will output "Hi, Bob" because we passed it a string “Bob”, that got accepted by the function and stored in a variable called “name” and then got used in the function.
