Should there be a job board that is just for free code campers that completed at least one certificate?
For those who did get developer jobs, maybe you could get your company to post for other developer roles they have on the job board, to help others out?
Things like this have been suggested in the past. Unfortunately there are dozens of job boards for tech jobs. I don’t know how a board like this would be able to compete, by a couple orders of magnitude.
I don’t know about getting the companies getting involved. They can reach a million people on Stack Overflow. Even more on Indeed, Monster, Glassdoor, etc. I don’t know if it would be worth it for a company to invest the time to keep FCC updated.
Sometimes people will post jobs they hear about, usually in this room. I hope they keep doing that.
