Jump up when I go back to the forum home page

When I come to https://forum.freecodecamp.org/ and scroll down and click on any topic and then when I want to go back to the home page, the position where I was is lost. Why? (this doesn’t happen when I’m in any category, e.g. JavaScript)

This does not happen on my end.

To go back to the root, do you use the browser back button, or do you click on the freeCodeCamp button in the nav? If the latter, then that is the expected behaviour - to be taken to the top of the page.

I use browser back button of course
This problem happen on my desktop (linux chrome and also firefox) and phone (android 9 - chrome)

Do you have any browser extensions with access to this website?

The only thing I can think of is something is preventing your browser cache from caching. Have you purposefully disabled caching?

Only uBlock Origin, but the problem remains even if I turn it off.

No, I don’t know about that.

I recorded it
jump up to the top
but when I am in any section, this doesn’t happen

it is a different view, that one gets reloaded each time it seems, I have forum.freecodecamp.org/latest as default forum homepage and it doesn’t jump (it can be set in the settings)
