Just finished Cat Photo App course!

Hi there! I’m new to this. Super new. in fact; I haven’t wrote a single line of code until mid September, last month. And I completed this course in little under 2-3ish hours. I’m not sure if that’s good or not, but I’m proud.

After discouragement, and tears for getting rejected twice at two different coding bootcamps(loan don’t get approved) I did more of my own research and discovered free code camp! I’m learning at a quick rate I’d like to think and I just want to express my excitement.

Anyways, that’s enough back story, I’m wondering if I’m actually adapting to this easily, or am I learning at the speed of everyone else?

Thank you for reading

That course wasn’t there when I started but…

Don’t worry about other people’s speed. Learn at your own pace. Some people race through and don’t learn anything. Others go slowly and do little side researches and learn well. And there are a lot in between.

Just learn. Learn and build things - that’s the core of becoming a good programmer.
