Just finished the Backend Certification --> Start applying now or wait until I finish everything?

Hi Everybody, as the title explains I just finished the back-end certification, I was wondering if I should start applying now, and what kind of job can I hope to land with my certifications so far, Or should I wait untill I finish everything and then start applying. I work as a teacher now, but I don’t feel like working another year as a teacher !

Congrats on the certification!

There’s no reason you can’t start applying. There is no guarantee you will or won’t be hired at this stage. It just depends on the company/client, job role, and luck is involved at this stage.

Until you do have another job lined up, and you have it in writing when you start, do not quit your current job. It can be tough and a long road to break into the industry. Apply, keep learning, and keep building projects. Also, practice interview skills.

Congratulations for finishing certification but getting job / internship will need loads of more hard work

  • you need to show projects built on GitHub ( simple to complex once )
  • you need to build them on your “own” and not watching YT or Udemy tutorial

I personally made this mistake of applying for jobs without building sufficient projects on my own ( using my own mind and problem solving skills ), without this important step you will be completely struck while building real world project
