Kindly help while reassigning the value in :root selector in media query

facing issue while reassigning the value in :root selector in media query it again says
:root should reassign the
–penguin-skin
variable to black

Can we see the code you’ve tried?

<style>

  :root {

    --penguin-size: 300px;

    --penguin-skin: gray;

    --penguin-belly: white;

    --penguin-beak: orange;

  }

  @media (max-width: 350px) {

    :root {

      /* Only change code below this line */

    --penguin-size:200px;

    --penguine-skin:black;

      /* Only change code above this line */

    }

  }

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

    --penguin-size:200px;

    --penguine-skin:black;

You have a spelling mistake in there. When I fix that, the code passes for me.

Also, with tests involving color, if you still have problems, please make sure that dark mode is turned off in your browser.
