Last Project I Completed Before I Stopped Learning

Hey everyone,

The Survey Page was the last project I completed back in November 2019 before I completed stopped learning to code here on fCC. I decided to redo the entire project and am satisfied with the HTML and CSS. Only obstacle I faced was responsiveness when I went to test it out in Chrome Dev Tools.

Your form looks okay @fdozza. Some things to revisit;

  • Run your HTML code through the W3C validator.
    • There are HTML coding errors you should be aware of and address.
    • Since copy/paste from codepen you can ignore the first warning and first two errors.
  • The form says the age field is optional but it’s not. That’s a bad UX.
  • Change the cursor to a pointer when hovering over the submit button.
  • Do not use fixed dimensions on elements, use max-width/height and relative units like %, em, rem and vw to keep everything responsive.
    These forms are pretty simple, you shouldn’t need a media query to keep it responsive.

On a side note, don’t try and replicate the sample form. Yours only needs to be functionally similar. Give it your own personal style.
