Learn Bash by Building a Boilerplate - Build a Boilerplate

Tell us what’s happening:

I really don’t understand why my project in vs code goes off by itself and when I check my gitpod, it says timed out and it never continues from where it stops, I’ve repeated this project three times now and it’s gone off again pls what should I do to continue from where I stopped, I’ve as far as 70% already.

Your code so far

how are you restarting the project? (I don’t really understand what you mean by “goes off”)

To restart, you are expected to restart the workspace directly from gitpod (not from fCC).

When I restart with gitpod, it doesn’t show me the coderoad to continue my work, it will show "coderoad start " and when I click on it the project starts from beginning.

I am still not clear how you are returning back to the project. Please explain what you are doing step by step (which website you are using, what you clicked on)

First of all it writes timed out when I’m still working on my project

This is normal. It will time out if you are not using it.

Then I click on the open workspace and it brings me here

Then I click on open gitpod and it brings me here and opens a new workspace on my vs code

My project doen’t continue from where I stopped, please what am I doing wrong?

But it starts a new workspace for me and I cannot continue from where I stopped please tell me what to do.

that’s not the correct method. You should have clicked on the “Go to Dashboard”.
The dashboard is also linked from the actual curriculum page too.

Ok thanks a lot, I’ll try it when next it times out.

you should probably visit the gitpod dashboard and see how many workspaces you have created in the past. It may get confusing to you to figure out which is which.
