Challenge: Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 11

Link to the challenge:

Your using the wrong type of selector.

To select an element: use the element name
div { }

To select a class: use a dot

<p class="example"></p>

.example { }

To select an ID: use a hash

<p id="example"></p>

#example { }

Here is a reference of selectors you can use:
CSS Selectors Reference (w3schools.com)

But i am using class as selector

Yes, your using a class.
But it didn’t ask for you to use a class…

Center your h1 element by setting its text-align property to the value center .

Some steps can be a little direct.
It is highlighting the type of selector it wants you to use h1 and giving you the property and value it wants you to use, text-align and center

Some steps want you to use specific things given in the question.
While others will be more open to using more than one method.
