Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 12

Hello,

I am stuck on Step 12 in the Cafe Menu project. I have entered the below code but still getting the following error:

Test: Sorry, your code does not pass. You're getting there.
Hint: You should not add a new style tag. Add the new CSS rules to the existing style tag.

I have verified there are no other style tags; this is the only one in the entire code.

My code so far:

Your solution works from my end. Please try one of the following steps to move forward.

Click on the “Restart Step” button and force a refresh of your page with CTRL + F5 then try to paste the code in again.

or - Try the step in incognito or private mode.

or - Disable any/all extensions that interface with the freeCodeCamp website (such as Dark Mode, Ad Blockers, or Spellcheckers), and set your browser zoom level to 100%. Both of these factors can cause tests to fail erroneously.

or - Ensure your browser is up-to-date or try a different browser.

Thank you for the response! I was able to get it to work finally by removing the two semicolons on h1 and h2.

the semi-colons are not wrong…
however, I am glad you got it to work.
