Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:
It keeps saying I’m changing the h1 element even though I’m not and then its saying I’m adding a second style element when I also have not.

Your code so far

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <title>Cafe Menu</title>
    <style>
      h1 {
        text-align: center;
      }
      h2 {
        text-align: center;
      }
      p {
        text-align: center
      }
    </style>
  </head>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
      <p>Est. 2020</p>

Your solution works from my end. Please try one of the following steps to move forward.

Click on the “Restart Step” button and force a refresh of your page with CTRL + F5 then try to paste the code in again.

or - Try the step in incognito or private mode.

or - Disable any/all extensions that interface with the freeCodeCamp website (such as Dark Mode, Ad Blockers, or Spellcheckers), and set your browser zoom level to 100%. Both of these factors can cause tests to fail erroneously.

or - Ensure your browser is up-to-date or try a different browser.

I hope one of these will work for you.

Welcome to the forums! Computers are very picky. Take a look at the value for your text align property of the “p” selector. See if there’s anything you notice missing that is in your other property values.

oops. When i was typing you hadnt responded. Sorry.

no worries. the semi-colon is not required if the property is just before the closing brace

I got this problem with me, and I also tried these solutions and it didn’t work. Is there another solution?
