Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:

I’ve tried retyping this three different ways and none of them have been accepted so maybe a fresh set of eyes can tell me why it’s not going through even though the elements are centered correctly on the page.

Your code so far

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <title>Cafe Menu</title>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

    <style>
      h1 {
        text-align: center;
      }
      h2 {
        text-align: center;
      }
      p {
        text-align: center;
      }
    </style>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

  </head>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
      <p>Est. 2020</p>
      <section>
        <h2>Coffee</h2>
      </section>
    </main>

Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 12

Welcome to the community @rachelfaerie2 !

Your code has passed on my side.
Try the following:

  • Reset step
  • Refresh page (F5)
  • Some browser extensions, such as ad-blockers and dark mode extensions can interfere with the tests.
  • If you are having problems, recommendation is to disable extensions that modify the content or layout of pages, while taking the course.
    • Try a different browser.

Happy coding!

Thank you, I switched to Microsoft Edge for that one exercise and it worked for me as well.
