Tell us what’s happening:

I’ve tried multiple variations, changing the order of the the rel and href, tried it with and without the forward slash at the end of the link element, even found some solutions online and still cant seem to get this one right.

Hello and welcome to the community @cocomedic !

Please take a close look at the quote above?

Should it be : or = for the operator?

Wishing you good progress!

Hey @cocomedic ,

you did everything right, but mixed the syntax up. In HTML you use ’ attribute=“value”'.
In CSS you use ‘attribute: value;’

So what you have to do is, change the ‘:’ in your code to ‘=’.

Result should be: ’ rel=“stylesheet” href=“styles.css” ’ inside your link element

Hope I could help
Greetings
Lucas
