I’m finding it hard to figure what comment out means

Comment out is putting something in a comment. When you put code in a comment you call that “commenting out the code” Basically, an easy way to think about it is if you comment out code then its like that code is not there anymore until you remove it from the comment

In this case you want to put the comment around background-color: burlywood
